Naomi had a few friends who were headed to the zoo, so we thought we'd mount the family onto bicycles and head off. There were a few other potential things to do - all in the same rough direction, so we thought we may make a day of it.
After the zoo, we headed up the capital city trail, past Paul's bike shop, for a feed at CERES and then on to see the end of the last CycloCross race of the season. Well.. that was the plan, but we managed to make it there to watch them packing up. Oh well. It was still all good, as we saw Dean (who had competed) and we had a few laps of the velodrome. Juliette was overtired. Normally when you put her in her seat, even if she's upset, a few cranks and she's giggling. Not so much in the velo. However, Genevieve loved it so she and I had a few laps by ourselves.
And on the way home, Genevieve rode for quite a while all by herself.
